How good is Friday? Best day of the week, I reckon.
And I have some very strong opinions on the days of the week (Tuesdays suck).
It’s pretty much a rule in our house that, if it’s Friday afternoon, Mrs Romance needs a glass of champers in her hand. It’s not up for negotiation – even if I wanted to protest!
After all, a glass of bubbly is the best reason to punch out after a long week. But anyone can do that, so let’s step things up a bit.
Here are three deceptively simple champagne cocktails to start your weekend with a pop!
The Champagne Bitters Cocktail
Give your bubbles a lift with this smart little number. The Champagne Bitters Cocktail is super easy and adds an extra dimension to your glass of champers.
The Champino
For something a bit stronger, try the Champino Cocktail. Its bitter-sweet mix of Campari and sweet vermouth will really get the party started.
The Hibiscus Champagne Cocktail
The Hibiscus Champagne cocktail is so easy and delicious, and adds a glamorous edge to your glass.
These three champagne cocktails are the perfect way to celebrate the weekend. They’re also a cocktail party favourite of ours as they are so easy to make.
If you like the look of these bubbles, you can find more in our cocktail ebook ‘How to Host the Perfect Cocktail Party’.
As well as over a month’s worth of cocktail recipes, it’s chock full of tips for organising a cocktail party, bar equipment essentials, and food and catering ideas.
