Thanks for your feedback. You’re right, the ‘just because’ reason is the best time to give flowers. Of course, the responses I was hoping for were more along the lines of women saying ‘no, Jim! We don’t really want flowers!’

I think that the thing that makes giving flowers romantic for me, is when they are “just because” and when the giver has taken time to remember my favourite flowers/colours. It’s the demonstration that they’ve paid attention and remembered. No easy feat which is why lots and lots of brownie points are rewarded!
