I know what you mean, Wesley. I have friends who travel all the time for work. Their partners hate it and so do they. Really happy you’re doing something you enjoy now. Makes such a difference to your life, doesn’t it?

Sounds exactly like me, Sonia! I don’t travel for work much anymore either – and if I do, it’s usually with Mrs Romance. I’ve got the feeling Mrs R would get up to something very similar to you if I did though… especially the bit about trashtastic TV!

The thing I dislike the most about him being away is the fact that I’m a scaredy cat who can’t sleep without him, so most times I end up on the couch with the puppy next to me (lucky we’ve got a big, comfy couch)! The things I do enjoy however include eating whatever I want – usually scrambled eggs on toast for dinner – watching my trashtastic reality TV shows and keeping myself busy with blogging…all without the guilt that I’m neglecting my lovely husband!
