The time has come to take a stand on the issue of tourist vandalism of our historic bridges, monuments and world heritage sites. The Love Locks are ruining cityscapes in too many cities to count, worldwide. Just a simple search of the term on Pinterest brings up reviews in several cities.

I would love to see you be proactive on this issue – and STAND UP against the corruption of public morals that makes this practice appear acceptable.

We walked along the Pont des Arts on our first day in Paris and though we didn’t add a lock to the bridge, it was a beautiful moment we enjoyed.
