Thanks Malinda! Yes, the tilt shift effect is amazing, isn't it? I took this one ages ago on an iPhone 3s I think! Gordons Bay really is the perfect precinct for beach life... quite the hipster hangout these days though. All beards and neck tattoos!

In reply to <a href="https://mrandmrsromance.com/3-sydney-beaches-only-locals-go-to/#comment-104652">Natalie</a>.

Ha ha! It's so funny hearing people say places wrong you're so familiar with, isn't it, Natalie. When I first moved here from the UK, Mrs R was always having to help me out! But when she moved to the UK with me, we had some fun with Marylebone (she and all her family would say Mary le Bone when they played Monopoly) and a little town near where I grew up called Witham (pronounced 'wit-em'), she would say 'with-am'. Made me laugh!
I wonder who the actress was - I suppose you couldn't really correct her either, could you? Not a good look!

Ahah, yes! Back when I worked in the convention industry, an actress from a very famous movie series told me she spent the day at 'coo-ghee', and it took me a good couple of minutes for me to click she meant Coogee! I guess if you read it, that is how you would pronounce it!!
